Pioneer DJ and Pulserocker announced at NAMM 2016 their new partnernship. From now on, DJs using Rekordbox DJ software will be able to stream tracks from their Pulserocker account. This move expands the available tracks in Rekordbox DJ to millions from over 500.000 record labels.
This announcement follows last years parternship Serato DJ closed with Pulserocker, so now Pioneer DJ is going the same route in an attempt to win DJs over to Rekordbox DJ.
From the Pioneer DJ press release:
|We’re partnering up with Pulselocker to let rekordbox dj users stream tracks from their Pulselocker accounts
Our new partnership with Pulselocker lets you stream tracks from your Pulselocker account directly into rekordbox dj performance software. This will give you the freedom to perform with the streaming service’s 44 million tracks, from 500,000 record labels, simply by connecting the performance software to your Pulselocker account.”Since we launched rekordbox dj performance software in October, DJs have told us they’d like it to include support for streaming services like Pulselocker,” says Yoshiaki Ide, Pioneer DJ’s chief executive officer. “We’re excited to partner with Pulselocker and give DJs a new way to access the music they love”.”We are very pleased to be announcing this partnership between Pulselocker and Pioneer DJ. Having Pulselocker’s vast catalogue of music integrated directly into rekordbox is an exciting proposition for Pioneer DJs everywhere,” says Ben Harris, Pulselocker’s chief executive officer.
Pulselocker is currently available in the UK, USA & Canada. Pulselocker support is planned to be available spring 2016.
