The Denon DJ MC4000 is a solid piece of DJ gear, with enough features to interest mobile DJ’s on a budget. It even has TRS booth and XLR master out, and two microphone inputs.

We reviewed the Denon DJ MC4000 a while ago and were impressed with all its qualities. No cheap piece of DJ gear here, but a solid offering, with professional grade outputs. The mixer has 4 big sample pads and the transport section is well laid out with 4 hot cue pads per deck.

The design doesn’t follow the traditional Serato DJ layout for DJ controllers (8 performance pads per deck) but that’s something that shouldn’t bother DJ’s that don’t need all the advanced performance functions from Serato DJ.

  • Very solid build

  • Professional grade inputs and outputs (XLR, RCA master out, TRS booth out, 2 microphones in, AUX in)
