Namn 2015 has only just started and Pioneer has dropped a bomb on us: the all new XDJ-RX. Following the tradition of the XDJ-R1 and XDJ-AREO, the RX combines DDJ-SX type platters with center leds, a big high resolution screen in the middle with stacked waevforms, full rekordbox compatibility, pro in & out connections, and a lot, lot more.

The unit is meant to work with Rekordbox and that could mean that files that aren’t prepared in it won’t be recognized. However, it’s MIDI capable so expect mapping files for popular dj software packages to appear sooner than later.

The XDJ-RX will retail at roughlt 1.500 € and available in March.
