The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SZ2 is a very decent upgrade of the original DDJ-SZ controller. Most of the features are the same as the original unit, with some added controls for Serato DJ’s pitch and key features. Apart from that, it’s top-notch, yet an expensive piece of kit.

If you are looking for a fantastic Serato DJ controller and money is no object, then the DDJ-SZ2 might be your weapon of choice. It’s – very – expensive, costing almost 2.000 dollars, but for that amount of money you do get one or two things in return.
The DDJ-SZ2 is big, and that means enough space for many features, but also for a real “pro gear” feel: this is the closest you would come to playing on an actual DJM/CDJ rig in terms of play controls. Big jog wheels, very similar to the ones on the CDJ-2000NXS2, a spacious, fully equipped mixer, double USB input… The DDJ-SZ2 has it all.
