Reloop has just launched their most professional DJ controller yet: the Mixon 8 Pro. This brand new controller is designed to be used with Serato DJ Lite or Serato DJ Pro but is also compatible with Algoriddim’s djay Pro AI. It even has an integrated docking bay for a large iPad.
The Mixon 8 Pro has 4 channels and a hardware mixer, with FX toggle switches for each channel (I love those!). Another remarkable feature (even though it’s quite a common feature these days) is the jog wheel with an included screen in the middle that shows all key track information. Each deck also has (seemingly) eight high-quality performance pads.
This controller is also the first controller (to my knowledge) to feature a USB-C port for easy connection with the latest MacBook Pros and iPads.
